Most beauty brands sell you a product promising transformative results but are nowhere to be found when you actually have questions about the application of their product or have concerns when their product doesn’t live up to your expectations. Do I have to keep using the products forever?

You should continue using the product as an ongoing part of your daily routine. If you discontinue use, your skin, lashes, brows, and hair will gradually revert back to their original appearance. 

The good news is that you can decrease usage after you’ve achieved your desired look. 

For LASH, BROW, and HAIR products — once you reach a point of satisfaction — you can apply the serum once per day. Another option is to decrease application to three or four times per week. We have found that you can take multi-day breaks from time to time without losing traction. When you want to increase the results again, go back to using twice per day.

Will the lash serum change the color of my eyes?

The LASH Follicle Fortifying Serum will not change the color of your eyes when used as directed. Our 5 synergistic ingredients (and two patented proteins) are designed to enhance your lashes and brows. The formula has been tested and the ophthalmic safety evaluation results did not demonstrate a potential for eliciting ocular irritation to the eyelid, or cornea.

How are NULASTIN® products different from other products on the market?

Will NULASTIN® cause irritation?

We pride ourselves on having a collection that is skin-safe, hypoallergenic, and made with the highest quality ingredients. Our LASH, BROW, HAIR, and SKIN products should not cause discomfort or irritation; however, if you tend to have a sensitivity to products, we recommend a patch test prior to use. This usually involves dabbing a small amount of product behind your ear or on your inner elbow and leaving it to dry for 48 hours. 

NULASTIN® is made fresh in small batches, and for that reason, it may initially be potent for certain individuals. For those with sensitive eyes, we advise using the serum in the morning (and not at night before bed), as the eyes seem to respond better. Nighttime is when the body repairs itself and this can cause your system to go into overdrive aggravating sensitivities.

If you experience any challenges with the product and depending on your desires, it may be possible to stop using the serum for a week or so until things calm down, and then reintroduce it using a very, very light application. A little goes a long way.

When will I see results?

NULASTIN® founder and CEO, Leah Garcia, received the first unsolicited compliment on her glowing skin after a few short weeks of using NULASTIN®. Not everyone will respond the same way — results vary from individual to individual depending on gender, age, genetic predisposition, and countless environmental factors. 

The LASH Follicle Fortifying Serum can generate changes within weeks. Lashes may feel more luxurious and hold mascara better. Within a month, overall changes may be noticeable, including length, width, and density. If the majority of your lashes and brows were in the third stage (see below for an explanation of the different stages of growth), you may need to use the serums longer to see changes. 

The BROW Shape Altering Serum and HAIR Vibrant Scalp Treatment may take more time. Stay the course! As for the BROW serum — keep on keeping on! Consistency over time is the brow game. The best practice is to apply the product in the areas where hair is sparse two times per day (morning and night). Certain spots can be problematic and may take months to look better.  If the follicle is damaged beyond repair, you may never see growth. This is true for every product on the market. Dead is dead. But if there is life in the follicle, we are confident we can help.

Timing is different for everyone. Your lashes, brows, and hair grow in stages. For lashes and brows, the cycle lasts 3-4 months.

The 1st stage (anagen): When your hair grows a little every day (30-45 days).

The 2nd stage (catagen): The transition or regression phase — when your hair follicles shrink, allowing the strands (bulb) to extend toward the surface (2-3 weeks).

The 3rd stage (telogen): The resting phase. Your hair bulb is inactive, and the hairs eventually fall out (Around 100 days).

The 4th stage (late telogen or exogen): Reassembly. This is where new follicles are formed. Think of it as the re-awakening process before the hair starts back into the growth phase. 

Can I use the NULASTIN® while wearing makeup?

All NULASTIN® products are designed for ease of use and can be applied under makeup with little or no wait time.

Is it safe to use the LASH & BROW serums if I have eyelash extensions, a lash lift, tinted eyelashes, eyeliner tattoo, or microblading?

Our LASH & BROW serums are highly recommended for individuals with eyelash extensions, lash lifts, and all of the above. There is no evidence that our serums will affect tinted lashes, eyeliner tattoos, or microblading.
